DIS demonstrations provide an opportunity for you to demonstrate your latest prototypes and cutting edge research to DIS attendees. Having people interact directly with a new interface or design is often the best way to communicate what you have created to your audience. It is also the perfect way to get feedback on your work from experts within the field and build beneficial collaborations with other researchers. We invite innovative and interactive contributions addressing design from a multiplicity of areas including (but not limited to):

  • Interaction technologies (mobile devices, sensors, huge and tiny displays, smart materials, etc.)
  • Design for specific contexts (the home, urban life and rural areas, schools, museums, digital art, games and play, news, community building, the workplace, etc.)
  • Interface and system concepts
  • The design process and methodology

Demonstration papers should be no more than 2 pages in the DIS 2012 template. All submissions should be anonymised for peer review and submitted via the DIS 2012 PCS system.

Critical Dates
